Easter Eggs!
For those of you visiting SLO County during the upcoming Easter Weekend, there are some great events going on for kids and adults alike. One of the very best is the 22nd Annual Los Osos Easter Egg Hunt. Kids gather from all across the county to join in on a giant egg (and candy!) hunt.

Don’t you remember, as a kid, the thrill that came with Easter morning? My brother and I would wake up (at the crack of dawn as excited kids are apt to do) and race into the living room to see what the Easter Bunny had left for us. By the time the adults were up we’d usually stuffed our faces with chocolate and were surging with sugar-fueled energy.
We’d then beg and plead (and pleeeeease!) to begin the Easter Egg hunt. Mom would let us loose in the neighborhood park where the neighborhood parents had organized a giant hunt for all the kids. It was such a rush to run around spotting one here and spying one there until our baskets were overflowing with painted eggs and chocolate wrapped bunnies.
Just because you’re on vacation shouldn’t mean that your kids are deprived of such awesome fun. Feel free to join in the fun in Los Osos and make a real memory they’ll remember forever.
