Having stayed at this hotel when it first opened I just had to go back. Having travelled all of the Pacific Highway from San Diego to Eureka and back again, this was by far the friendliest, cleanist, cosiest and most welcoming hotel I had the pleasure of staying. From staff to owners, everyone takes pride in being at El Colibri. In August this year I took my family on a tour from San Francisco and once again I just had to stay at this hotel, and again, it did not dissapoint. My only regret is living in the UK and not being able to visit more often. Rooms are spacious and so comfortable, the wifi worked perfectly, the open air roof top jacuzzi was great and staff amazing. Convenient for Hearst Castle and good restaurant a short stroll away.
