FIve Star Review - So welcoming, so relaxing
We try our best to make the El Colibri feel like a home away from home (only better and without all the stress and chaos that home can sometimes have) - in fact that's one of our main goals. We like to think of ourselves as a place you can come to relax, rejuvenate, and destress. That's why we have a great wine bar at your fingertips, that's why we have a petite spa in the hotel, and that's why we have created the most luxurious rooms on the Central Coast.

This is a very nice property and as others have noted, you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful--happy to book reservations for you and quick to provide any coupons available for restaurants and/or wine tasting. The room couldn’t have been more comfortable. A refridgerator would have been nice, but its absence would not prevent me from returning. The wireless system worked well with plenty of strength to use from your room. The wine tasting each evening was a pleasant experience, allowing us to taste some wonderful regional wines. The breakfast each morning was a perfect start to the day, not to heavy but certainly enough so that you won’t go hungry. El Colibri is within walking distance of the beach, a nature preserve, and the west side of town. You can walk to the east side as well, which we did one evening for dinner, but it’s close to 1.5 miles one way, so dress accordingly. We booked spa appointments one afternoon and were both very pleased with our massages. Overall, our 3 night stay at El Colibri was a most enjoyable experience, the staff having much to do with our enjoyment.
