If you’re looking for fun and sight-seeing instead of a romantic get-away, you’ll love our second package. Everyone knows that just up the road from Cambria, CA is the illustrious and sometimes infamous Hearst Castle. Built by the newspaper magnate in 1949 (but started more than 30 years before that), Hearst Castle is California’s largest residence at more than 90,000 square feet. It is such a special site to see with the outdoor Neptune pool, the indoor Roman pool, a dining room out of the history books, and so much fascinating history you’ll find yourself wanting to come back from more. If you’re lucky (and you keep your eyes peeled) you might even see a zebra. Once the Castle house the world’s largest zoo and a herd of zebra still live on the property.
