Well…you made it! Through the holidays, that is! It may have felt like an uphill battle towards the end but now all the family dinners, rich desserts, the shopping, the crowds…they’re finished. I’m a bit sorry to say goodbye to December but now that it is 2012 I’m really looking forward to getting a start on what will be a great year!

I’m not really one for resolutions, but one thing I am trying to accomplish this year is a renewed sense of balance. That means I will be trying to take some time for myself to read a book, have a bath, do a bit of shopping. I will be ordering out sometimes instead of forcing myself to get dinner on the table every single day. I will start doing small things for myself.
