SLO International Film Festival!
How cool is it that we, small little SLO County, nestled between our big brothers Los Angeles and San Francisco, get our own Film Fest! Film Festivals come with bright lights and big celebrities. They come with big name critics, swag bags, and glamour! And now we have our very own.

The festival runs from March 9 to March 13 and offers 23 documentaries, 11 narrative features, and 37 short films all from independent filmmakers. There are other films being shown across town as well that are not included in the lineup. There are way too many to see all of them, but we’ll definitely be dropping in on quite a few.

What’s so cool is that besides just the films, the festival is hosting some really wonderful special events. Vina Robles Winery is hosting two movies in Paso Robles – My Darling Clementine, a CLASSIC John Ford movie on March 10 at 7pm, and La Ceremonie a French thriller in the style of Alfred Hitchcock in March 11 at 7pm.
We’re really looking forward to the fest and all the great movies and filmmakers who will be around town. I’m so excited that our little spot on the Central Coast of California gets to be home to such a wonderful event.
