The Pewter Playhouse Presents
The Pewter Playhouse is one of Cambria’s most beloved cultural institutions. The dedicated actors, directors, and producers at the Playhouse have been putting on live stage plays for over 34 years. (And to boot, the Playhouse is actually a 501(c)(3) – or a charitable not-for-profit corporation.)

The Playhouse was founded by two theatre aficionados – Jim and Olga Buckley – in 1977. The theatre has been going strong since then, hosting an average of seven shows per year. Figure that’s around 238 shows since the Buckley’s opened their doors. The Buckley’s no longer manage the day to day at the Theatre but with a strong management team behind them, everything is going well.
If you’re in the hood and looking to really explore how it is us locals live and love our community, this is absolutely an important activity to check out. A fabulous new play called “Becky’s New Car” is on from March 25 until May 8 and a show called “Playhouse Creatures” runs from June 3 until July 17.
